A fresh compilation featuring distinctive soundtrack music by composer and multi-instrumentalist Jim Trotta Davis (Suburbanoid). This collection has been compiled from various Suburbanoid music albums and curated by APM Music (Universal/Sony). It is now available exclusively through APM Music for global synchronization in visual media productions. The album was launched worldwide in January 2025 and can now be found on all major streaming platforms and online stores.

Adam Taylor, the president of APM Music, attended one of my Sunday sound bath meditation sessions at Meditation Mount in Ojai, California. He kindly passed my work along to Edwina Travis-Chin, the VP of music content and strategy, to assess its potential fit. Within a few days, Edwina reached out to me, expressing a strong interest in my sound bath meditation music style. She proposed curating and compiling an album to be included in their library for use in films, television, and various visual media projects. After carefully reviewing my music collection, Edwina selected and compiled a 22-track album titled Suburbanoid Sound Bath Meditations.

Jim (Suburbanoid) began his sound meditation journey over 20 years ago while attending a course for meditation at Delgado College. During this time, he began composing music to help guide meditation. In 2008, he had the opportunity to record his 1st music meditation album titled “Lite Roast” in Ojai, California. This album was inspired by the town of Ojai and full moon ceremonies performed at Meditation Mount. He has traveled across the country numerous times and has brought this sound experience to multiple yoga, meditation, and spiritual centers.
In 2017 and 2018, he began offering this sound meditation for patients at recovery centers in Malibu and offering it until he and his family were evacuated from the 2018 Malibu Fire, eventually relocating to Santa Barbara. In 2020, he returned to Meditation Mount in Ojai to film his Virtual World Tour concert dedicated to Japan.
This concert series won a 2020 Responsive Artworks award from the Santa Barbara Bowl and Arts Commission. With the award money received, he was able to replace his older sitar and buy his new Fusion Sitar. At the beginning of 2021, he began offering his sound meditation at Meditation Mount in Ojai every Sunday morning. It continues to today and is in its fifth year. Just recently, he released “Meditation in a Bottle,” a collection of over three hours of sound bath meditation music, including his newest album release, “ Suburbanoid Sound Bath Meditations (The APM Music Collection). A collection of sound bath meditation music including fusion sitar, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, guitar with EBow, Koshi chimes, sound drones, ocean drum, gong, nature sounds, and vocals. This Album was curated by APM Music (Universal/Sony) and has been added to APM's production music library and is available worldwide for all productions, films, TV, streaming shows, and more!
It contains twenty-two beautiful, relaxing, and meditative musical compositions.

Jim (music, sound meditation artist) and

have been artistically collaborating together for over 20 years.
Their biggest collaboration is their Eco Friendly home on wheels named “Rocket”.
A 35 foot long School bus the two converted into their Eco-friendly home on wheels.
Rocket (the bus) is solar powered and runs on recycled vegetable oil and bio-diesel. The bus/home is equipped with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and full bathroom and shower.
